See Etecsa’s plans for the future
The Internet scenery in Cuba has changed in the past few years. It has become more accessible, allowing Cubans to find out what’s new out there, not only in Cuba, but also in the world and, more importantly for you, our beloved customers, allowing Cubans to stay connected with you, using different chat and email services or social networks. But there’s still a long way to go, right?
At the beginning of this month, Etecsa representatives made public some infographics and key figures regarding the evolution of the mobile and internet market and revealed some of their future plans.
Briefly, here are the strong points Etecsa announces for 2017:
- More than 200 public sites for WiFi navigation,
- 38,000 facilities for the Nauta Hogar service
- 3G Internet connection
