What is the Cubacel x5 promotion?
The promotion gives eligible Cubacel customers 5 times the amount of an international top-up directly in their main balance.
For example, if you send a 600 CUP recharge, the recipient gets 3,000 CUP in their main balance.
And the benefits go up with the amount you send:

How does Cubacel x5 work?
It’s simple. Send an international recharge of 600–1,250 CUP to an eligible Cubacel number in Cuba, and the recipient gets 5x the amount in their main balance.
They also get unlimited data from midnight to 7:00 A.M. for 30 days, activated as soon as the promotional recharge is received.
The 5x balance can be used for regular Cubacel services, including calls, messages, plans, packages, and balance transfers. It keeps the standard 330-day validity from the last top-up received.
Can I send more than one Cubacel x5 recharge?
Yes. You can send multiple eligible top-ups during the promotion.
The 5x amounts accumulate in the main balance, while the unlimited data bonus is valid for 30 days from the latest eligible top-up.
The main balance cannot exceed 500,000 CUP.
What if the recipient already has a Cubacel plan?
Existing plans, combos, and bonuses continue as usual, but the promotional recharge does not extend their expiration dates.
Which data is used first?
The Unlimited Data Bonus is used first, followed by the customer’s other eligible data resources according to Cubacel’s standard deduction priority.
How can my family in Cuba check the balance?
Balance and bonus inquiries are free. They need to call these numbers:
- Main balance: *222#
- Bonuses: *222*266# or *222*BON#
The recipient also receives a notification when the promotional recharge is completed.
When is the Cubacel x5 promotion available?
