Etecsa lowers Nauta costs from 1.50 to 1.00 CUC for an hour of connection.

You know how much your friends and family back home love to surf the web, find out what’s new out there and keep in touch with you using all these new technology means… So you can call them and make their day brighter: Etecsa dropped Nauta prices for international navigation by 30%: 1 CUC/ hour instead of 1.5 CUC, the old rate.

As of October 31, the rate for international navigation through the Nauta account costs 1.00 CUC for one hour of connection. For temporary accounts (cards) the price depends on the time of the card purchased: 30 minute card $ 0.50 CUC; 1 hour card $ 1.00 CUC and 5 hour card $ 5.00 CUC.
The maximum storage capacity of the Nauta mailbox will also be increased to 100 MB (from 50 MB).
The rate reduction applies to the international navigation (permanent and temporary Nauta accounts). Considering that there are clients with national navigation accounts with active international mail (this service is no longer commercialized) the tariff reduction will also be applied. Nauta’s national navigation account (without mail) stays the same, i.e 0.10 cents CUC / hour.

ETECSA is present in more than 1,300 public spaces, advances in the Nauta Hogar service (there are six provinces benefited) and expects, once the damage of Hurricane Irma is restored, to extend that option to the rest of the country.

So you know what to do to make them happy:

  • Find out their Nauta email. It should look like user@nauta.co.cu or nauta.com.cu.
  • Once you have the email, go to HablaCuba.com Mobile Recharge page.
  • Select Nauta and then the amount you want to send
  • Confirm your order and wait! They will get in touch with you shortly to say thanks and to let you know what’s new back in Cuba.
